The Future of Jordan R. Samuel

Project in the works . . .

“The Empty Manger” (estimated publication: 2025 - 2027)

*Update: May 18, 2024 - While waiting on the formatting of “Where Even the Moutains Sway” to be completed, I went ahead and started another Christian Fiction, and hopefully one that would come out at Christmastime, just as Upon the Highest Bough did in 2023. I’m about 50 pages in and liking it so far! Going for a thought-provoking and engaging story of a woman of faith, a difficult situation, the weight of bad choices, and what it really means to share your worries with God. I’ll probably work on this one for the next 5-6 months, then reassess my timeline! - JRS

*Update: November 23, 2024 - I have completed shifted to another project, so my progress on this one has stalled (but only temporarily). I still have hope I will finish it no later than Christmas of 2026, and perhaps even Christmas of 2025. Approximately 75 pages are written, so very slow progress at this time.

Project in the works . . .

“Written on the Final Page” (estimated publication: 2026 -2027)

*Update: May 19, 2024: I really need to get back to this one - It is almost 3/4 of the way done and now I think I know what direction I’m going to go. Still hoping for a 2025 publication . . . we shall see. This one, I already know, will probably be a very sad ending. Sorry. - JRS

**Update, January 12, 2024: I’m working on this one simultaneously along with the “Politics” one mentioned above, but I’m running into a few snags with the storyline. Pushing this one back one spot to a 2025 publication date, although, at times I also question whether I will ever finish this one. I am 287 pages into it, and I love many parts of it . . . stay tuned! I’ll keep you updated! - JRS

*** Update, November 23, 2024: As you can see from the other updates, I was working on this one at the same time as “Where Even the Mountains Sway”. That one, being a little “lighter” in content, was finished quite quickly, and is already published. This one, however, will take longer. The beginning 150 are done. The ending is done. The middle . . . well, not so much!

I am now even contemplating that this story will end up as a two-book set, with the first volume titled “The Mile” or something similar, and the second “Written on the Final Page.”

I am anticipating this one will now be ready no earlier than 2026. Stay tuned . . .

Project in the works . . .

“The August Journal” (estimated publication: 2025)

* Update, November 23, 2024: Good news to share on this one! I have started focusing again on this story, and I am now back on track and feeling the story coming to me. I anticipate THIS (quite surprisingly) will actually be the next novel that I get ready for publication! I am giving myself a goal of having this one ready by August of 2025!

Stay tuned!
